In the past we only did contrast-coated frame work by request. But after getting so many requests, we figured we’d just offer builds like this done and ready to ship. Details:
GLOCK 19 gen 5 9mm, with 3x 15 round magazines. Low cap mags are usually available by request. This pistol started as a factory black frame gun, and received our Duty Series grip package, with level 1 reduction and frame index points, and Flat Dark Earth Cerakote outside the modified areas. You’ll note that the coating stops on either side of the tang area, and the tang area is polished black. As is the bottom of the trigger guard. We did that specifically because we found that for shooters who do a lot of shooting, training, and dry practice, the coating will wear off the high friction areas of the frame, and leave the coating looking patchy. So to preempt that from occurring and keep your frame looking its best, we left the areas that see the most grip friction uncoated and polished. For the slide, we direct milled it for an AIMPOINT ACRO P2 footprint, with rear sight relocated in front of the optic, then mounted a new ACRO P2 and Ameriglo suppressor height sights. Optic has been laser boresighted, so it’ll be on target when you receive it. But you’ll still need to zero it for your preferred distance.
