Caliber: .308 Win / 7.62 NATO.

Condition: used, sold as-is. We have not fired or cleaned this gun, only inspected it inside and out. Inside is clean, and shows very little wear. Bore is crisp. Outside shows wear belying its 43+ year age and various means of storage/transport by previous owner(s), plus wear in all the usual places that accessories attach. In our estimation, this rifle has been accessorized a lot over the years, but has not been shot much.
It’s common knowledge amongst HK collectors that the way HK accessories mount will ALWAYS damage the finish. The only way you’ll find a rifle like this without finish wear is if it’s new in the box (and will easily cost $1500+ more than this) or if it’s been refinished (which degrades the value and hides signs of significant firing). If a scope or a carrying handle or brass deflector has been mounted even once, it WILL leave its mark. Due to the value and collectible nature of this item, feel free to request more photos of this firearm prior to purchase.
